Is the Rally Committee only involved in sports?
Absolutely not! The Rally Committee's members' primary duty is serving as Ambassadors of the University of California. We do this by participating in community service, putting on campus-wide events, attending alumni events, and more.Is it a huge time commitment to be a part of the Rally Committee?
The time commitment of being in the Rally Committee is completely up to you. Some members are able to come to lots of events while others can only make a few. Whatever time you have available to put into the committee is totally acceptable. The only requirement is that you love Cal!Are there leadership opportunities in the Rally Committee?
Yes! The Rally Committee gives many opportunities each year to foster leadership in our new members. Whether joining subcommittees, serving as class or residence hall representative, or taking part in designing t-shirts, posters, fliers, and more, members are able to serve as leaders from the get go.Does the Rally Committee give free tickets to sporting events?
The Rally Committee is given a set number of tickets to sporting events such as football and basketball for our members. In order to take advantage of these tickets, members are expected to be active in the Committee - which is a blast to begin with!
