Chairman

Kalina Kwong

Year at Cal: 3rd (*post midcollege crisis*, yay!)

Year in the Committee: I'm part of a committee?

Major: Art and Anthropology

Job Description:

I run around! And get hit in the face by flagpoles for everyone's enjoyment. On a more serious note? I'm here to make sure that no one gets arrested, that everyone has the best year of their life, and that if you DO get arrested, you have someone who can bail you out.

Brief Biography:

Once upon a time a girl blew up a jeep in Texas. Then Berkeley, impressed by here immese skill in life choices, accepted her and she decided that Berkeley was a lot warmer than Canada. So she came here, joined Rally Committee on a whim, and ended up meeting people who became a part of the of her family. NOT THE END.

Favorite Rally Comm Moment:

The first time I ever did spell-out! My first college football game EVER I was front and center, with paint all over my body. I got a tan on my chest and stomach in the shape of a letter, I lot on TV, and I got a call from my parents asking me exactly how intoxicated I was. (Ironically I was completely sober.)

Why did you decide to be a part of the Executive Committee?

The committe gave me a group of people I never imagined I would find, and chances to grow in ways I never thought I could. I decided I wanted to lead this year's Executive Committee because this University, these people, this amazing group, has given me so much--and I want to give people a chance to experience the same amazingness that I got to expereience. I want you all to have a yearyou never imagined would be possible!

Celebrity Crush?

The dog from Up! Is that weird? I think that might be weird...

If you could claim credit for one invention, what would it be?

The Shakeweight. That thing has had a bigger impact on the world than the wheel has had.

Would you rather have the ability to fly or to be invisable?

To fly! I don't want to be able to creep on people. (But Julie on the other hand...)

Who would play you in a movie about your life?

The dog from Up! (I really like that dog!)

If you had a time machine, where would you go?

I don't know if I'd travel to a different era. This time and this place is an amazing place to be! Plus, if you've seen Time Machine you should know that the butterfly effect is perfectly capable of screwing us all over immensley. I DON'T WANT TO BE RULED BY MONKEYS.

What would you rather be doing instead of filling out this survey?

Flying around Gotham in a bat suit alongside the Batman, taking out the Joker, and getting shwarma afterwords.
